Passion...

I came from a family of teachers... From my grandmas (maternal), granpa (paternal), uncles, mom, sister-in-law, cousin, me and my sister (coming soon). But I never actually dreamed of being one when I was younger. I wanted to be a flight attendant (me, too fat), then a dentist (too expensive), then a journalist (too hard), a newscaster (dream big), a lawyer (yeah right), till I ended up in education, Early Childhood to be exact. I never knew that i had a hidden magic in working with kids...until I worked. Since then it became my passion...

Here's to my everyday life filled with passion...

Mommy Lia...

Lia never fails to make me smile. When she's not in my class, the room feels quite unlively. She's the root of enthusiasm and excitement for her classmates. She's also quite mature for her age. I love it when she talks about Princesses and Princes...and when she sings that Cinderella song. She takes care of me like im her daughter when we play pretend in class. She's also very witty... surely i will miss having her in my class...luv u mommy lia!

Cowboy...

I showed my pictures to my class (Nursery) as part of our sharing of experiences during the recent break. William asked me after my slideshow presentation, "Teacher, why you wear cowboy's hat? My mummy has one but not same. You should wear a mommy hat because you're a girl".

I just told him... "Oh yeah... maybe I will borrow your mom's hat then." he replied, "maybe...but you wont be a cowboy, you'll be a mummy. i love mummy but i love cowboys."

 :)

Scawy... (scary)

Another cute reaction from my baby Lia about my black and white photos she blurted out "Teacher, why like that? scawy... your camera broken ya?"
